Aussie Chicken Rotisserie In Ang Mo Kio!

Charco's, which is popular in it's native Perth as a takeaway outlet offering roast chicken fresh from it's rotisserie amongst other favourites such as schnitzels, kebabs and salads, has recently opened it's flagship outlet, literally, in the middle of Singapore. Choosing the same location (Blk 608, Ang Mo Kio Ave 5) where Botak Jones used to ply his trade, the coffeeshop seems to be attracting a steady flow of Ang Moh tenants adding a western touch to the choices of food available in the recently renovated kopitiam. Something in the mould of Nando's (which we don't have over here in Singapore. Dang.) or the more swanky Kenny Rogers', Charco's has quite a respectable "fan base" back in Australia who wax lyrical over the quality of the food there. Can our local outlet match that claim?You know that Wifey and I can't resist trying out new stuff, especially those that won't burn a hole in our pockets, so when we found out that Charco's had opened in Singapore through our favourite gossip information magazine 8
