Applebee's, Retards(?) and Rednecks in Singapore
Even after being in Singapore for almost two years, there are still quite a few places I haven't seen, like the Jurong Bird Park for example, but I was kinda shocked to realize that there was a whole park and a whole set of shops, outlets, and stores hiding just behind the main drag (Orchard Road), along Exeter Road behind Orchard Central and 313@Somerset. Like I said in the last post, I'd never even seen the area before. Not really. A view from the top of Orchard Central at night doesn't really count since you can't see anything. While exploring the area we found a building where it looks like an Applebee's, coffee cafe, Bose store, and a few other outlets are getting ready to open. The Applebee's is what held my attention. It was close to the bathrooms, which is what we entered the building for. The restaurant is set up in such a way that you can see the whole sitting area from outside of the premises, so while I stood waiting, I watched what was going on inside. I chuckled a bit at the time,
