I'm just wondering about the kind of resources wasted to have the by-election conducted. Workers' Party is truly panicky to 'cut their loss' by cutting away Yaw Shin Leong from the Party. What do you mean with 'cut their loss'? Yes, thanks to the Aljunied GRC MP Pritam Singh, who is also on the CEC of the Workers' Party, it's reported that "the turning point which led to Mr Yaw's expulsion was the media reports last Thursday alleging that Mr Yaw was involved with more than one woman". Mr Singh was also quoted: "With more individuals coming to the fore, we do not feel that keeping quiet was an option anymore." That, Sir, is what I meant with 'cut their loss'. Or you may say it 'damage mitigation'. They (the Workers' Party elites) have finally realized that they should keep a (safe) distance away from Yaw Shin Leong.
