About Me
Although I made a short Welcome post, I realized I didn't say too much about myself. One common question I've been asked is if I'm Chinese Irish? It makes sense to wonder that as I'm learning Mandarin. As you can probably tell from my photo I'm Irish Irish and I'm 28 years old. I grew up in Castlebar, Co. Mayo and lived in Dublin for several years while going to University to study Telecommunications Engineering. Since this blog is mostly about languages I guess I should mention that I speak English, Irish, French and of course a few words in Mandarin but I'm working on it :)I work in E-mail Security which has allowed me to work all over the world. I lived in San Francisco, California for about three years and worked with Symantec. For the past year, I've worked in Vancouver, Canada working with MailChannels. I just booked my flight to Singapore and will be relocating there on October 24th! I'll write a blog post in the future explaining how I received permission to work in Singapore.
