2½ Hours To Enter Johor
Going back to visit my in-laws was a nightmare on Saturday, with thetraffic entering Johor through the 2nd link tailing back as far as before the Tuas Underpass, due to the beefed-up security checks after the Houdini-esque escape of Mas Selamat Kastari on Wednesday. We had to wait a hefty 2 hours and 15 minutes before our car finally cleared the Singapore customs. During our wait in line, the sky was literally turning dark in front of our eyes! Thank god there wasn't any congestion over at the Johor customs. We arrived at our destination around ten, three hours later than our usual time of arrival. Fortunately, I didn't miss my football match, which was only on at 11:00 p.m.1st photo taken around 7:00 pm, just before we entered the Tuas Underpass.2nd photo taken around 8:20 pm, while we were nearing the customs complex.
