3.50 a day would put a 2 dollar paper note in your pocket and a 1 dollar coin and a 50 cent coin. it might not be much to spend but it would be a great denomination if we all could save that much in our savings account every day.
i think the question is whether to spend it or save it

or u can put 3 $1 coins and a 50 cents coin in your pocket too. Yes you are right it should be whether to spend it, save it or invest it.
