To me, the mark of a HK cafe is determined by the quality of its yun-yang (coffee-tea mix) and baked rice, among others.
Tried both on my first visit. The yun-yang arrived interestingly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. But the ice cream did nothing to the drink. It was too sweet and has none of the smoothness nor creaminess I would expect - Direct Fail - No supplementary paper allowed!

The baked rice was worse! It has none of the melted cheese and chewy texture but was a hopeless imitation. As ordinary as the cai png! Major Fraud!

That visit was my first and last visit to that eatery!
