I think the Yellow Ribbon Project is seriously a waste of taxpayers money.Seriously. Their motto: helping unlock the second prison is bullshit.I seriously don’t understand why the media have to report the juvenile offences of what Ris Low had done previously? And why should they even bother to publish the article that she failed her ...

Erm, I don't get it, what's the association between Yellow Ribbon project and Ris Low. I think Yellow Ribbon Project is a good effort to give offenders a second chance.

Ris Low is technically (regardless of what she believes) an offender. If Yellow Ribbon Project is indeed working, nobody will make such a big noise about the tainted Miss Singapore. Alas, it's a real world & no second chance for this 'boomz' girl & there goes her crown...hanging in the air with ERM still YET announces who will snatch the title of Miss Singapore.

But the Yellow Ribbon Project is aimed for ex-prisoners. Ris Low has't been imprisoned before. I don't think the project should be targeted.

The fact that ex-offenders still has to face much social stigma is the justification that the Yellow Ribbon Project is needed imo.

Still back to Ris Low, it's the unfortunate price to pay to be on television. Singaporeans still love a little gossip. Supposed there's no citizens interested in such scandals, do you think the Singapore media would even have interest reporting it? The local media reports based on their perception of what is of interest to Singaporeans. Judging from the amount of blogs posts covering the issue, I say the viewer response is excellent.
