so, you think you can make ping.sg better?
| Idea: | Don't grab "Private" or "Protected" posts. With the XML-RPC, all posts including "Private" or "Protected" are picked up. That is a waste since most ping.sg readers wont have access to such posts. Or maybe, you can allow users to "UnPing" their posts. |

Exactly what I am planning to do. I'm going to allow the user to 'unping' their posts within a specified amount of time as sometimes not just the private posts are being picked up, sometimes users change their permalink as they change their post title after publishing it as well. Thanks for the suggestion. My vote for you. :)

I think don't need to specified amount of time. Can allow us to unping anytime we want?

Perhaps can start with WordPress and filter posts that begins with "Protected: " out.

if only the author change the "ping" option to no ping.
